About

Hi, I'm Alice Collins, a photographer based in the UK, working across both analogue and digital formats.

My work centres around things I find intriguing, from wildlife and natural landscapes, to quiet moments of everyday life, and everything in between.

I’m drawn to wildlife photography for its unpredictability, I find the anticipation and adrenaline exciting; but I also value the opportunity to share my experiences with people that may never encounter these animals themselves. Some of the most meaningful moments in my wildlife photography journey have come from showing my photographs to family members who can no longer experience these moments firsthand.

Shooting on film encourages me to work more slowly and deliberately, paying closer attention to light, atmosphere, and the process itself. One of the things I love about analogue photography is the physicality, it's not only about taking a photo, but creating something tangible that exists beyond a screen.
